Fiddle Lessons in Edmond, OK
Fiddle is violin, played for the joy of it. We teach fiddle to kids and adults in Downtown Edmond, whether you’re brand new, a violinist who wants to loosen up, or someone who grew up around this music and wants to finally play it. A $20 trial lesson is where we start.
Lessons are one on one, once a week, in person or online. Most fiddle tunes are learned by ear, so reading music isn’t required to start. If a student wants to read too, we teach that as well. Families are always welcome to sit in.

We begin with a comfortable hold and a good sound, the same as violin, and then get straight into tunes. Old time, bluegrass, Celtic, and Texas style all live here. Bowing patterns, double stops, and playing in tune with a chord come as the tunes ask for them.
Fiddlers get to jam and perform with other students during the year, and nobody has to be perfect to join in. Every student also gets our free practice app with a tuner, a metronome, and a daily plan from their teacher.
