Piano Lessons in Edmond, OK
Piano is where a lot of our families start, and it’s a wonderful first instrument. We teach beginners of every age here in Downtown Edmond, along with students who’ve had a few years and want to go further. A $20 trial lesson is the first step, so we can meet you and find the right teacher.
Lessons are one on one, once a week, in person or online. Our teachers use method books and real repertoire from early on, and we’re glad to help you decide what kind of keyboard or piano to have at home. Families are always welcome to sit in.

In the first lessons we work on sitting at the piano comfortably and a relaxed hand, and we start playing songs right away. Reading notes and rhythm build from there a little at a time. You don’t have to memorize theory before you’re allowed to make music.
Later it’s classical pieces, pop songs, playing by ear, and a bit of theory as it becomes useful. Piano students play in our recitals during the year, and every student gets our free practice app with a metronome, games, and a daily plan from their teacher.
