Why We Built These
We wanted to meet a need in our own homeschool community by providing an outlet for musical expression. Entering into our second year with the homeschool orchestra and choir, our kiddos perform regularly in the community and enjoy learning together!
Questions Families Ask
Does my child need to already play an instrument?
Not for choir. For orchestra, a little playing experience helps, but we take true beginners and we will tell you if we think a term of private lessons first would serve your child better.
Can I join both?
Yes. They meet on different days, so plenty of families do both.
Do you rent instruments?
We do not rent instruments ourselves, but we will point you to the shops we trust locally. Just ask.
Can we join after the term has started?
Yes! Both groups are ongoing rather than a fixed session, so reach out and we will find the right place to bring your child in.
Do you take Epic Charter learning funds?
We do, and we accept Braintree funds too. See Epic Funds for how that works.
